Why don’t my blinds close evenly when I tilt them?
I have a new faux wood 2″ blind that I installed. When I pull the string to tilt them down, I find that the top slats close tight (touching the slat above and the slat below), however the slats near the bottom, though tilted, do not close tightly, allowing light through. Any ideas why?
Let me know what further info you need and I will supply it.
If what PATRICA MS mentioned doesn’t work try to raise and lower them a few times then open and close a few times while the blinds are in the fully lowered position(beyond the window sill if need be). When new they drag a bit because they’ve been in the compressed state.
Make sure there not getting caught on the window or it’s frame
If these attempts don’t seem to correct the problem you will need to take them back for a replacement.Trying to mess with the mechanics inside the top part is a pain and usually doesn’t do anything but frustrate you.
