What nail polish color should I wear with a black dress and gold flats/gold accessories?
There is a school dance coming up and I already have my black dress, gold flats, and gold jewelry planned out. I was just wondering what nail polish color would go best with the whole outfit. I have my eyes set on Sephora OPI Mermaid To Order, which is a gorgeous shade of blue-green (my all-time fav polish), but opinions are welcomed! =D
You could go for the nail polish, but I reckon wearing something (an accessory, bag, hair band or eye makeup) that’s the same colour or similar. Then it won’t make your nails look too out of place.
You could keep it co-ordinated and wear black (very versatile), or gold.
Another option could be wearing a plain clear one, that will give nails a nice polished shiny look. Or maybe a clear glitter one.
Upto you though, and remember not to stress too much; they are only nails after all, and the outfit usually takes centre stage fashion-wise
