Why do I blackout?
4 or 5 years ago, everytime I stood up, I wouldn’t be able to see anything but I could maintain composure fairly well. One time I had just waken up and after walking to the bathroom I had a blackout and fell.. I don’t know what happened but when I came to I was sprawled on the floor. I went to my doctor and he said it was because of low blood sugar or something, I got tests done, nothing seemed to be wrong with me.
I was fine up until now, it wasn’t happening but all of a sudden it’s come back to me, I had a head rush today when I stood up, then I fell onto my sister and onto the floor.. I couldn’t see a thing and I had no idea what was happening, I had no recollection whatsoever but she thought I was kidding around because she says my eyes were open.
Any suggestions to prevent this from happening?
1) Go to another doctor who may refer you to a specialist.
2) Low blood sugar and low blood pressure are the most likely candidates to a non-medic like me. Although I have no health concerns, I bought an automatic blood pressure monitor cheaply for myself and it is easy to work. It was on special offer.
3) In any city there will be a blood pressure monitor as part of a weighing scales.
