What does this reoccuring character in my dreams mean?

I recently had this traumatic experience… my fiancee left me about a month ago… and now I have this dream and there is always a character who comes up in them.

He is an angel I guess. He wears a roman toga type outfit, made of white fabric and gold. He has dark hair and dark eyes and looks upon me with pity and pain. His expression is often the same, he looks like he is tortured by seeing me, as if he wishes he could… oh, I don’t know “save me” from something, but knows there is nothing he can do?

Its strange to me, because I am not highly religious, but I do believe in good and evil. The angel in my dreams is heartbreakingly beautiful, almost, in ways, resembling my ex-fiancee. I wonder if this has any significance, if anyone has an opinion about him, or can interpret the dream…?

In all of your dream the faces you see are REAL people you have seen before. However, you may not recognize them. You might have seen this person or “savior” walking down the street one day, for all I know.
Also, to see a stranger in your dream symbolizes the part of yourself that is repressed and hidden.
